Remaking Clothes
Remaking old clothes can be a sustainable solution to reducing waste and the use of new fabric.

Demin hat
My sister was upcycling a pair of jeans into a new pair of shorts. I took the offcuts and made these into a new hat. Check out the handmade Dorset Buttons on the hat band. The pattern is my own design.

Jeans into skirt
My daughter did not like this orange fabric as a pair of jeans. It makes a much better skirt. The leather flower is made from patches that my mum had bought to mend dad’s Harris tweed jacket, from Barefoot Leather. I machine stitched a star design along the hem.
